- FOUNDED in 1985, Italica Press publishes English translations of medieval and Renaissance texts and of modern Italian Fiction. We have published some of the most renowned Italian fiction writers as well as many of the leading scholars in medieval and Renaissance studies in the United States. In 1993 we launched our first e-book, an interactive version of the 12th-century "Marvels of Rome." In recent years we have added a series of Italian poetry in translation, presented in dual-language format. OUR BOOKS are widely known for their elegant design, careful editing, and fair pricing. ITALICA PRESS maintains two e-mail lists: one for Historical and one for Literary studies. We do not share these names with anyone else.
